At around 9 p.m. on Monday night a fire was reported on the site of the Sample & Son Landfill in Grovetown, Georgia.

The fire continued through the night before getting put out. Throughout the process, the landfill remained open. The fire is not expected to have too much of an impact on the facility's operations
