Since 2010, there have been numerous fires at Sims Metal Recycling Plant in Jersey City, New Jersey. 

Jersey City firefighters, battled the latest single alarm fire and found a fire within a scrap metal pile. Employees at Sims Metal Management aided firefighters using cranes to pull the pile apart while firefighters extinguished the fire. 

There were no injuries reported and further investigation is being completed by arson investigators.
