Drunk Garbage Truck Driver in NYC Crashes into Nine Cars

On Saturday morning, Anthony Castaldo, a driver for Viking Sanitation, struck nine parked cars, a tree and the front porch of a home. Several cars were totaled and the tree was snapped in half, but no one was injured during the accident.

Following the incident, Castaldo was charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and refusing to take a Breathalyzer test. He has been suspended from his job, and the investigation of the accident is ongoing.

A drunk garbage truck driver in Brooklyn, New York, left an unbelievable trail of destruction in his wake Saturday morning, according to police.

According to police, Anthony Castaldo, 40, was driving the garbage truck in Borough Park, Brooklyn, on Saturday morning when he plowed into nine cars parked on the side of the street, took out a tree and knocked over a house's front porch.

Castaldo was charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and refusing to take a Breathalyzer test.
