Officials in Toledo, Ohio voted on Tuesday about whether to sell a plot of land to Lucas County for a future recycling facility.

A new facility could save the city up to $10,000 per month in transportation costs alone. The site would include a community recycling center and resources. Recycables are currently driven 90 miles away to Oberlin, Ohio.
