A group of 30 FILA members spent seven days in Germany, gaining new perspectives and sharing insights about the waste and recycling industry with the group's German counterpart, the BDE Junior Association.
This merger marks Waste Industries’ first strategic move outside of its East Coast footprint since the company’s founding in 1970.
The members had a chance to see where some of the recycled material is stored and processed for reuse.
