FABSCRAP, a non-profit organization rethinking commercial textile waste, is celebrating six years of diverting useful, pre-consumer materials from landfill, having saved over 1 million pounds of materials to date.

In celebration of these major milestones, the 501(c)3 has launched a digital silent auction at https://fabscrap.cbo.io that runs from 10:00 a.m. ET on September 16, 2022 until 10:00 p.m. ET on September 20, 2022. From autographed sports paraphernalia to luxury office furniture and everything in between, supporters can bid on prizes or make a 100% tax-deductible donation to the climate-championing cause.

The goal is to raise $15,000 before the auction wraps. Doing so would unlock up to $35,000 of generous support from FABSCRAP brand partners Steve Madden, J.Crew and Madewell to be put to work towards FABSCRAP’s four top priorities: scaling to meet immediate demand; reducing waste in the fabric sampling supply chain; integrating the shredding and recycling process; and expanding services to the West Coast.

FABSCRAP is the only organization in existence to take on the challenge of not only physically keeping pre-consumer textiles out of landfill but also being a resource of education and data on textile waste.
