Each year a large sculpture made almost completely of butter is displayed at the New York State fair. While this year's 800-pound installation was deemed unsellable for consumption, it is still being put to good use.

The butter will be taken to a nearby farm called Noblehurst Farms in Pavilion, N.Y. which has the necessary equipment to turn the otherwise wasted dairy into energy that can power the farm and houses. This is the seventh year in a row the sculpture will be recycled.
