It takes at least 450 years for plastic to decompose and only 30 percent of plastic in the U.S. is recycled. Plant based brands are taking notice of this problem and are using sustainable packaging for their products.

Impact Snacks created vegan bars and uses plastic-free, plant-based and home-compostable packaging that has a carbon-negative supply chain. No Evil Foods produces a range of plant-based meats and uses a kraft paperboard printed with plant-based inks to ensure the carton can be recycled or composted. And Sacred Serve who makes plant-based gelato uses plastic-free paperboard coating.
