In an effort to address climate change and plastic waste, 100 percent of Dow’s products will have reusable or recyclable packaging by 2035.

To protect the climate, Dow will reduce its net annual carbon emissions by five million metric tons by 2030 and will be carbon neutral by 2050. By 2030, it will enable one million metric tons of plastic to be collected, reused, or recycled through direct actions and partnerships to stop waste. And by 2035, 100 percent of its packaging will be reusable or recyclable. 

In addition, the company has entered into new renewable power agreements for its manufacturing facilities in Argentina, Brazil, Texas and Kentucky and the company has introduced a new line of mechanically recycled plastic resins for flexible and rigid plastic packaging applications.
