PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire – Cyclyx International, a consortium-based feedstock management company with a mission to help increase the recycling rate of post-use plastic from 10% to 90%, announced today that North American Plastics, a family of leading brands in plastics distribution, has become a member of the Cyclyx consortium.

As a member of the consortium, North American Plastics joins an impressive group of companies that are leading the way in building a more sustainable future for plastics. Member companies have access to Cyclyx’s services that provide plastic users throughout the value-chain with third-party audited, circular, end of life pathways for their products through innovations including chemical characterization of plastics and predictive modelling of feedstock sources to product pathways, custom feedstock recipes, and customized supply chains. These innovations and North American Plastics’ commitment to help drive more plastics being recovered at end of use is an exciting combination.

“Working together with Cyclyx allows NAP to further its already industry-leading recycling initiatives,” stated Tim Bolton, vice president of sales at North American Plastics. “We could not be happier to be a partner within this consortium. We look forward to being stewards for both our customers and suppliers with the goal of enhanced repurposement of resin-based substrates.”

“We’re thrilled to have North American Plastics as a Cyclyx member,” stated Joe Vaillancourt, CEO of Cyclyx. “Their collection of brands represent the largest geographic footprint of plastics distribution in the plastics industry today which can be leveraged to increase global plastic recycling. North American Plastics’ membership exemplifies the vital collaborations required to drive post-use plastic recycling from 10% to 90%.”
