  • The National Truck Equipment Association, Farmington Hills, Minn., has installed Rod Robinson as its 40th president. Robinson is president of Waltco Truck Equipment Co., Tallmadge, Ohio.

  • American Baler, Bellevue, Ohio, has promoted David Kowaleski to president and general manager. The company also has promoted Daniel Schaeffer to chief engineer and Roger Williams to national sales manager.

  • Genesis Equipment & Manufacturing Inc., Superior, Wis., has appointed John Breaux and Mark Ramun regional managers. Breaux will manage the Southeast, and Ramun will manage the Great Lakes region.

  • Oakleaf Waste Management, East Hartford, Conn., has named Peter Lore new director of customer service operations.

  • Phillips Industries, Santa Fe Springs, Calif., has promoted Rob Phillips to director of operations in facilities in Texas and California.

  • R.W. Beck, Orlando, Fla., has appointed Jon Hoyle as an analyst and project manager for water- and waste-related projects.

  • Norcal Waste Systems Inc., San Francisco, has announced that James R. Gillette will join the company's board of directors. Gillette is the CEO for Swinerton Inc., San Francisco.

  • SCS Engineers, Bellevue, Wash., has announced Derrel Triplett will join the company's Bellevue office.

  • Trynex International, Warren, Mich., has named Ron Tremper manager of sales operations for the SweepEx, SnowEx and SpreadEx product lines.

  • ASTM International, West Conshohocken, Pa., has named Jonathan D. Kuhns chairman of Committee D34 on Waste Management. Kuhns is the principal scientist at Westinghouse Savannah River Site Technology Center, Aiken, S.C. He previously held the position of D34 secretary.

  • Hendrickson International Trailer Suspension Systems, Canton, Ohio, has named David Plaster marketing director. Plaster had worked as marketing coordinator for the company from 1994 to 1998.
