Biggers will expand NW&RA’s statistics program and lead the development of new safety and performance standards for waste equipment and NW&RA operations, the Washington-based association said in a news release.
Biggers brings decades of economic research experience to the association. Prior to joining the NW&RA he managed similar programs for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) and the Insured Retirement Institute.
“Our statistics and standards programs are an important part of the strategic vision for the association,” said Sharon Kneiss, president and CEO of the NW&RA. “Opportunities for growth exist with these programs that will allow us to provide greater membership value.”
NW&RA’s statistics program includes Manufacturer Sales Data, consisting of manufacturers reporting production and sales data in specific product categories and economic industry and trend analysis reports.
