Silver Spring, Md. -- The Solid Waste Association of North America has appointed Steven Levy as director of program development. Before joining SWANA, Levy worked for the Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as an environmental engineer in the municipal and industrial solid waste division. During his 35-year career, Levy garnered recognition as an expert in municipal solid waste management, according to SWANA.
