Three family recycling businesses have rebranded under one name, Allied Resource Recovery (ARR) Inc.
The three Wisconsin scrap recycling companies owned by the Rehberg family being consolidated under the ARR name are West Allis Salvage Co. Inc., West Allis; Waukesha Recycling Co., Waukesha; and A to Z Recycling, Neenah.
ARR is positioned for growth, said Owner Phil Rehberg in a news release. “We are now a full service environmental asset management company. This is why we were compelled to choose a name that better describes who we are,” he said. “‘Alled’ stands for all of our plants who are allies in the collection of recyclables, and ‘Resource Recovery’ highlights our efforts to recycle, reuse and conserve this generation’s resources for tomorrow’s generations.”
ARR also operates as a stand-alone company a joint venture, National Salvage and Piranha Paper Shredding LLC.
ARR recycles more than 200 million pounds of metal, paper, plastic and other material annually. It serves many Wisconsin businesses and the cities of West Allis and West Milwaukee’s recycling programs.
