Solid Waste Administrator Bill Fritz presented the Boyd County Fiscal Court with two maps providing updated information on odor complaints from the community concerning Big Run Landfill.

The past two weeks have been particularly smelly for Boyd County residents in the Princess and Cannonsburg areas, according to Fritz, who provided a map with points plotted everywhere within a four-mile radius of the landfill that has reported problems to the state Environmental Protection Agency and the Division of Air Quality since Dec. 1.
