Veolia ES Technical has revenue of about $470 million, with two commercial hazardous waste incinerators and four solid reclamation units. A big part of its business is out-servicing customers that want their environmental needs addressed. Veolia has field service crews that manage those issues on site, Bell says.
“Recycling is consistent with the worldwide Veolia vision, turning waste into a resource. We see it as a great differentiator for us,” Bell says. “At the same time we need to offer all services to our clients. We’re a full-service national company – only two can say that" (in the hazardous waste industry; the other is Norwell, Mass.-based Clean Harbors Inc.).
