Raleigh, N.C. -- Waste Holdings Inc. has reported net income of $2.3 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2002, compared with net income of $2.0 million for the same quarter last year, and adjusted operating income of $6.4 million, compared with operating income of $6.9 million for the same quarter last year. Revenues for the quarter remained at $60 million.

Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Allied Waste Industries Inc. has reported first quarter 2002 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $404.1 million on revenues of $1.316 billion, compared with EBITDA of $471.3 million on revenues of $1.354 billion for the same quarter last year. The company also has reported net income available to common shareholders of $32.4 million, compared with net income of $25.9 million for the same quarter last year.

Lake Forest, Ill. -- Stericycle Inc. has reported first quarter 2002 revenues of $97.1 million, compared with revenues of $85.8 million for the same quarter last year; gross profit of $38.9 million, compared with gross profit of $34.1 million for the same quarter last year; and net income before acquisition-related charges of $10.7 million, compared with net income of $6.9 million for the same quarter last year.
