Thirteen Brownfields Projects Announced

Washington, D.C. — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has selected 13 supplemental pilot grants totaling $750,000 under its Brownfields Job Training and Development Demonstration program to train residents how to handle and remove hazardous substances for Brownfields cleanup.

Pilot projects in the following states were selected: Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, California and Washington. For more information, visit www.epa.gov/swerosps/bf/html-doc/jt0802.htm.
