Los Angeles – City Councilwoman Ruth Galanter has brought in a motion requiring an ordinance for electronics recycling. The ordinance will require retailers within the city of Los Angeles to recycle the electronic products they sell. Retailers will accept items, such as computers and televisions, from consumers and recycle them at no charge to the consumer.
