Springdale, Ark. -- Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. (AERT) has opened and begun operations at a plastic recycling facility in Alexandria, La. AERT converts reclaimed plastic and wood fibers into outdoor decks, door and window components, and exterior trim products. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Springdale, Ark., Lowell, Ark., and Junction, Texas. The processing plant at the Alexandria facility is in a 50,000-square-foot warehouse.
