Kansas City, Kan.-based Deffenbaugh Industries has purchased Roll Off Service Inc. and Advantage Recycling, both of which are located in Bethel Heights, Ark. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Combined, the two firms purchased by Deffenbaugh operate in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Texas; they provide collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services to about 25,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers.
“We are committed to growing our core business of solid waste and recycling services, and Roll Off Service and Advantage fit well within the long-term business model we are pursuing,” said John King, senior vice president of operations for Deffenbaugh, in a press release.
