Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services has completed its acquisition of Nashville, Tenn.-based Waste Removal Services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Waste Removal Services provides hauling and disposal services to about 170 commercial customers in the middle Tennessee area. “There’s something to be said for a family-owned business that has been handed down from generation to generation,” said Advanced Disposal’s Mid-South Area President Gerald Greene in a press release. “Our goal is to build upon Waste Removal Services’ great reputation and carry on both companies’ strong tradition of quality service and commitment to the community. Customers can be assured they will continue to receive the most responsive and environmentally responsible solid waste and recycling services possible.”
