Waste Pro USA, Longwood, Fla., has purchased two diesel/electric hybrid garbage trucks.

According to a company press release, Keith Banasiak, regional vice president of Waste Pro, says the company will look closely into available options for future truck acquisitions for Southwest Florida. The two hybrids will be used in Lee County and Manatee County.
