Waste Services Inc. Increases Revenue During Third Quarter

Burlington, Ontario, Canada — Waste Services Inc., Burlington, Ontario, Canada, has reported a net loss of $5.7 million on revenues of $94.6 million during third-quarter 2004. During the same period in 2003, the firm, which provides solid waste services for communities in Canada and the United States, posted a net loss of $7.1 million on revenues of $34.7 million.

For the first nine months of 2004, Waste Services has reported a net loss of $35.3 million on revenues of $217.6 million. During the first three quarters of 2003, the firm posted a net loss of $10.9 million on revenues of $91.3 million.
