Waste Connections today announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the Potrero Hills Landfill in Suisan City, Calif. from Republic Services, Phoenix. This follows a range of similar acquisitions by Folsom, Calif.-based Waste Connections in the wake of last year’s merger of Republic Services with Allied Waste.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
