New York State Makes Grants For Brownfield Cleanup Available

Albany, N.Y. — The state of New York has made $30 million in grants available for the cleanup of brownfields, according to a report in The New York Times. The grants are available “to communities and nonprofit groups in neighborhoods where brownfields are concentrated,” the paper reports.

According to the paper, $9 million of the money already has been committed to 52 projects across the state.
