Metalico Transfer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Metalico Inc., Craford, N.J., has purchased Compass Environmental Haulers, a construction and demolition debris transfer station in Rochester, N.Y.

According to a report in the Rochester Business Journal, Metalico purchased the station for an undisclosed amount and has a permit to receive up to 500 tons per day for recycling and disposal at the five-acre site.
