Baton Rouge, La. -- The Shaw Group Inc.'s subsidiary, LFG Specialties, has signed an agreement to supply a landfill leachate evaporator system (E-vap) to the Beijing Er Qing Environmental Engineering Group Co. This system uses renewable landfill energy to evaporate leachate. LFG Specialties will provide a 10,000-gallon per day and an 8-foot diameter enclosed flare system, according to the company. The project is slated to begin later this year.
