Impact Plastics, an Elgin, Ill.-based manufacturer of container lids for front, rear and side loading containers, today announced the acquisition of Green Bay, Wisc. caster manufacturer Globe Casters. According to an Impact Plastics press release, the deal allows the company to expand their product offerings to include container parts and accessories for dumpsters and roll-off containers. The acquired company will retain current president Carl Brill as national sales manager, but will change its name slightly to Globe Casters and Accessories, reflecting its broadened portfolio.
