Hewlett-Packard Aims To Recycle 1 Billion Pounds Of Electronics By 2007

Palo Alto, Calif. — Hewlett-Packard, Palo Alto, Calif., announced Wednesday that it has set a goal of recycling a billion pounds of electronic products and printing supplies by 2007. Last year, the company recycled more than 100 million pounds of electronic products and printing supplies through its Planet Partners program. Since 1987, Hewlett-Packard has recycled more than 500 million pounds of electronics products.
