Round Rock, Texas — Dell Inc., Round Rock, Texas, will award a total of $220,000 in grants this fall to support computer recycling programs. Both U.S. and Canadian communities are eligible to receive the grants.

Dell will award a series of $10,000 grants to state, provincial and local governments, and universities and other non-profit groups. Grant recipients also will receive technical assistance from the NRC. Applications for U.S. grants are available at www.dell.com/recyclinggrant; the applications are due on July 30. U.S. winners will be announced in August at the Washington, D.C.-based National Recycling Coalition’s (NRC) Annual Congress and Expo in San Francisco The company still is developing the Canadian application and award process.
