Casella Posts Third Quarter Results

Rutland, Vt. — Casella Waste Systems, Rutland, Vt., reported $1.4 million in net income on revenue of $116.1 million for the third quarter of its 2005 fiscal year, which ended Jan. 31. For the third quarter of its 2004 fiscal year, the firm posted $1.5 million in net income on revenue of $104.1 million.

For the first nine months of its 2005 fiscal year, Casella posted $7.6 million in net income on revenue of $366.1 million. During the first nine months of its fiscal year 2004, the company reported $13.4 million in net income on revenue of $329.1 million.
