Advanced Disposal Services, Jacksonville, Fla., has acquired Attaway Waste Services, Milledgeville, Ga., in a move the company claims bridges its operations gap between the greater Augusta, Ga., and Macon, Ga., areas.

“By consolidating operations between the I-20 and I-16 corridors, Advanced Disposal is better prepared to meet the solid waste collection and disposal needs of the state for many years to come,” says Wally Hall, president and chief operating officer of Advanced Disposal, in a press release.

Despite the acquisition, all of Attaway’s customer contracts will remain valid.
