Waste Management has closed its acquisition of Davie-based Southern Waste Management Systems, which includes 12 recycling operations in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
Waste Management also acquires Southern Waste's residential, commercial, and industrial solid waste collection operations, equipment, vehicles, real estate and customer agreements in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties.
The price was not disclosed.
