Two Good Donates All Profits During Earth Week for #MakeFoodGoFurther Movement

In an effort to prevent food from going to landfills and instead go to those who need it, Two Good, the Greek yogurt brand, announced in a press release that they will donate 100% of its profits*, during Earth Week – April 20-26, 2020 – to two food recovery organizations, City Harvest and We Don’t Waste.

We Don’t Waste recovers excess food from venues, restaurants, caterers, and other local food purveyors and redistribute to underserved populations in the Denver, Colo. area. City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization feeding nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers.

As part of the Earth Week campaign, Two Good is teaming up with celebrity chef and restauranteur Tom Colicchio to inspire a #MakeFoodGoFurther movement. Colicchio will be featured in several videos showing viewers several recipes and give tips on how to transform the ingredients already found in the kitchen into new meals to ensure no food is wasted.

Participating retailers include Kroger, Fresh Thyme, Albertsons Safeway (NorCal/Seattle), Jewel, Walmart (OH, PA, WV, NY, IL IN, MO, WI, FL),ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Food Lion, Giant Martin, and nationwide online on Instacart.

*Two Good will donate up to $100,000 from in-store and online purchases at select retailers.
