NWRA Releases Mid-Year Lobbying Disclosure and PAC Contribution Reports

Arlington, VA –  The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) released its 2021 mid-year LD-2 lobbying disclosure and LD-203 contribution reports and Federal Electon Commission (FEC) filing in further demonstration of the organization’s commitment to transparency.

“It’s through our lobbying and support for senators and members of Congress that we are able to be an effective advocate for the waste and recycling industry,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “It is important to us that we are transparent about our federal advocacy efforts. We consistently file our PAC reports with FEC and our lobbying reports with the Clerk of the House of Representatives. We have gone a step further by posting these reports to our website.”

NWRA’s Quarter 2 lobbying disclosure report can be found here and its mid-year LD-203 contribution report is available here. All of NWRA’s filings with the FEC are posted here.

NWRA files quarterly LD-2 lobbying reports with the Clerk of the House detailing what issues the association is lobbying on and who is lobbying on its behalf. It also files semi-annual LD-203 campaign finance reports detailing the contributions made by NWRA PAC  to candidates for the U.S. House and Senate. NWRA’s registered lobbyists are also required to file their own LD-203 forms disclosing whether they have made any contributions to federal candidates.

NWRA PAC files reports quarterly in election years and semi-annually in non-election years with the Federal Election Commission. These reports disclose the amounts of contributions disbursed to candidates as well as other expenditures made by the PAC and donations received from NWRA members to fund the PAC.
