The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) and Informa have extended their relationship through 2021 with a new, three-year WasteExpo agreement.

“NWRA is happy that we solidified the WasteExpo agreement. WasteExpo is the most important conference for the waste and recycling industry. Informa is a valued partner to us and our members. I look forward to continuing our strong relationship into the next decade,” said Darrell Smith, NWRA president and CEO, in a statement.

Each year at WasteExpo, NWRA hosts an awards breakfast that recognizes leaders in the waste and recycling industry, as well as being responsible for most of the education sessions, including a new safety symposium this year.

“We are very pleased to be renewing our partnership with NWRA for a new, three-year agreement (2019-2021),” said Mark Hickey, vice president of Waste360, in a statement. “Our relationship is a strong and productive one for both our organizations as well as the waste and recycling industry that we call home.”
