Waste Harmonics has acquired New Market Waste Solutions in a move that advances the company's technology-driven customer service solutions.
Michael Hess, Waste Harmonics founder, president and CEO, noted the positivity around the purchase.
“This acquisition puts us in a great position to enhance and complement our efforts while leveraging our industry expertise and extraordinary service to our customers," he commented. "It’s very hard to find top-notch customer service, industry experience and innovation in this industry, but Rob and his team run New Market Solutions very similar to Waste Harmonics and it’s a perfect fit in every way.”
Charlotte-based New Market Waste Solutions offers management and consulting services for waste and recycling clients in both Canada and the United States. These offerings complement Waste Harmonics' technology-based services for its diverse North American client base.
Prior to the acquisition, New Market Waste Solutions utilized OnePlus Fullness Compactor Monitor by Waste Harmonics as part of the company's smart services. Waste Harmonics touted both companies' strengths in "dedicated customer service, superior data and reporting, innovation and proactive partnerships."
“I started New Market in 2001, and since then, it’s grown tremendously because of our incredible team and their commitment to providing our customers with the best solutions for their growing business needs,”said Robert Ryan, New Market Waste Solutions CEO, in the announcement's press release. “Waste Harmonics was the right choice for the next chapter of New Market. I’m excited and honored to bring together two companies that stand for similar values and qualities in the waste and recycling industry.”
The final terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
