ProMed Waste Solutions LLC, a medical waste disposal company servicing the state of Florida, announced the acquisition of American Medical Transporters Inc.

The acquisition of the Largo-based company marks the third acquisition since September of 2015 for ProMed Waste Solutions.

Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The company said the addition of American Medical Transporters supports its goal of excelling in compliance, safety and customer service.

ProMed Waste Solutions was founded in 2011 with operations in the Orlando area. The privately held company is headquartered in St. Petersburg, with additional operation facilities outside Miami and Orlando.
