Recycling firm Sadoff Iron & Metal Co. has acquired in principle another recycling company, Aluminum Resources Inc., for an undisclosed amount.

Fond du Lac, Wis.-based Sadoff said in a news release it has a tentative agreement to buy Aluminum Resources, also based in Fond du Lac and a processor and supplier of foundry and mill grade recycled aluminum products. The newly acquired company will carry the same name as the parent firm.

“This acquisition adds a niche market for us that compliments our current aluminum and nonferrous business activity,” said Sadoff CEO Mark Lasky.

Sadoff is a ferrous, nonferrous, alloys and e-scrap recycling company with nine recycling operations in Wisconsin and Nebraska.
