Interstate Waste Services (IWS) has bought Norristown, Pa.-based Evergreen Waste Solutions for an undisclosed amount.
The Basking Ridge, N.J.-based waste and recycling hauler said in a news release that it will integrate Evergreen and its more than 7,000 customers within the IWS infrastructure.
“The purchase of Evergreen allows us to increase the strength of their customers’ existing service,” said IWS CEO Michael de Castro. “We can expand on what was offered while continuing to provide them with the great service they have come to expect.”
IWS provides collection, transfer, recycling and disposal services for residential, commercial, industrial and municipal customers in the northeast United States. The company has operations in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
