Covanta Holding Corp. has purchased two transfer stations in northern New Jersey from Advanced Disposal Services Inc.
Morristown, N.J.-based Covanta said in a news release that the transfer stations acquired from the Ponte Vedra, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal are permitted to accept 2,500 tons per day of municipal solid waste (MSW), construction and demolition (C&D) waste and recyclables.
The New Jersey facilities are located in Paterson and Totowa. Covanta now owns or operates 15 transfer stations in the United States.
