Advanced Waste Services Inc. has acquired a non-hazardous waste processing facility from Waste Water Systems (WWS) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The acquisition complements the Milwaukee-based firm’s existing service and expands its market area into Iowa. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mark Lob, president of WWS, will serve as the facility’s operations manager, according to a press release.
