Mulch Coloring System
Bandit Industries Inc., Remus, Mich., has introduced a mulch coloring system to attach to Beast Recyclers. The system uses a dry colorant that is metered onto wood as it enters the grinder, and it is tied into the Beast's feed system, according to the company. The colorant system uses 10 gallons of water per minute, and the Beast cuttermill can mix 125 cubic yards of colored material per hour, the company says.

Bomag, Kewanee, Ill., has introduced the BC672RB and BC772RB refuse compactors, which come with water-cooled Deutz diesel engines and a new wheel/tooth design. The BC672Rb weighs 71,000 pounds and offers 421 horsepower (hp) output at 2,100 revolutions per minute (rpm). The BC772RB weighs 81,000 pounds and produces 442 hp, according to the company. Leveling blades are available in widths of 12 feet and 6 inches or 14 feet, the company says.

Container Safety Latch
Wastequip Accurate, Beachwood, Ohio, has introduced the Slam Latch standard safety feature on all of its roll-off containers. The safety feature is designed to automatically latch the rear door of the container when it is slammed shut, the company says. A safety chain then is attached after closing the door. The slam latch secures the door without the need of a cam-style latch, according to the company.
