Waking up in an unfamiliar place after a night of boozing is hardly newsworthy. A man in Germany, however, found himself in a heap of unusual trouble when he passed out in a trash container and was later tipped into a garbage truck's hydraulic press.

Fortunately, the truck's driver also had been drinking — a non-alcoholic beverage, of course — and had to stop to urinate. Before returning to his route, he heard the hungover man's muffled swearing and stopped the press. The lucky man experienced only a minor head injury, mild shock and, most likely, a severe case of nausea.
