Who should be responsible for the lifecycle of a product? Taxpayers? Manufacturers? That is one of the hard-hitting debates surrounding extended producer responsibility (EPR) policies, which aim to shift the cost of residential recycling from taxpayers to product manufacturers. In this session, you’ll learn about two EPR policies that have been passed and implemented in the U.S., as well as the challenges and opportunities that come along with those policies.
