Colorado Landfill Seeking to Add Liquid Waste Solidification

An application to add a liquid waste solidification facility at the Front Range Landfill is back on the table in Erie, with community meetings slated next month and the item slated to go the planning commission on April 15 and to town trustees in May.

The application from Waste Connections was pulled from the planning commission's agenda in January. Since then changes have been made and there's one liquid the landfill won't accept — fracking fluids.
