Woes over the Bozeman landfill continue for city officials as another group of land owners in the Bridgercreek subdivision file a legal suit. This most recent lawsuit brings the total number of plaintiffs to 22.
According to court documents, the plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages, arguing the city failed to prevent the contamination of the landfill that has led to volatile organic compounds (VOC's) leaking into their homes. They also claim the city had knowledge of the situation prior to building the subdivision in the late 1990s.
