York County Votes Against Proposed Landfill

Residents and officials in York County, Pa. are discussing the future of where trash in the area will go following limited landfill options.

The original York County, Pa. landfill site was shut down because of contamination and was named a Superfund site. A new location that was proposed is raising resident concerns of its proximity to living spaces. A playground on the property would have to be removed.
