The Prince William landfill and compost facilities are both closed on Sundays now, causing unforeseen problems. At both facilities, long lines have become a point of tension due to there being one less day to drop off. In order to resolve this issue the county is encouraging people to apply for vehicle decals that would help to reduce wait time. Residents can apply for the decals online and will receive them in the mail within two to three weeks.
